First Officer Boeing B757 (m/f/d)

DHL Air (Austria) GmbH is looking for highly motivated First Officers with a balanced personality and above standard professional skills.

DHL Air (Austria) GmbH is a new cargo airline founded in 2021, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) Group. The prime focus of the airline is to support the EU network with a fleet of Boeing B757 aircraft.

Skills required:

  • Above standard professional skills
  • Profound aviation English language fluency (minimum language proficiency level 4)
  • German language desirable

Qualification required:

  • Valid EASA ATPL (A) or EASA CPL (A) with ATPL credit
  • Valid EASA Medical Certificate Class 1
  • Valid MCC Certificate
  • Completion certificate of training course specified in EASA FCL.745.A Advanced UPRT course
  • EU – Citizenship
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Entrance qualification for an (advanced) technical college, high school degree or university entrance exam
  • Valid background check
  • Valid Boeing B757/767 Type Rating preferred

Contract Type:

  • Unrestricted Austrian full-time contract
  • Please note: You must agree to let DHL Air (Austria) GmbH rewrite your valid EASA Part-FCL Licence into an Austrian EASA licence in case of a positive recommendation

Homebase:

  • Leipzig (LEJ)
  • Please note: DHL Air (Austria) flight crew members should live in the vicinity of Leipzig

DHL Air Austria

The company

Founded in 2021, DHL Air Austria is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group and part of the division DHL Express. The airline obtained its AOC in October 2021, with flight operations being entirely handled from Vienna since March 2022.

Together with European Air Transport (EAT), DHL Air Austria covers most of the European DHL network with a fleet of 18 Boeing 757-200. The company’s workforce currently consists of more than 50 employees in its headquarters at Vienna Airport and more than 190 flight crew personnel, based in Leipzig.

DHL Air Austria will add 3 Boeing 767-300 (with another one to be confirmed later) to the existing fleet of Boeing 757 in 2023, bringing the total number of aircraft to 21.
