AeroLogic has established itself as a powerful cargo airline.

The new cargo airline stands for larger capacities, more frequencies and new jobs.

The cargo airline AeroLogic takes root among the five leading European contractors.

AeroLogic was established in September 2007 and started airline operations not even two years later, viz. on June 29, 2009. Its fleet is composed of 14 Boeing 777 freighter. Started with 8 aircraft, Aerologic's fleet has grown to 14 aircraft between 2017 and 2019. In 2020 further B777s will be added to the fleet.

The company was established as a joint venture by  Deutsche Post Beteiligungen Holding AG and Deutsche Lufthansa AG. The respective companies of the shareholders have entrusted DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo with operational responsibility.

AeroLogic has its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC), own traffic rights, and is responsible for all airline operations including aircraft and pilots. The headquarters of AeroLogic are located at the Leipzig / Halle airport in Schkeuditz / Germany. The company´s workforce is currently 490 of whom about 380 are flight crew.

The shareholders of AeroLogic are the company´s customers at the same time thus making use of the capacities of the aircraft.  All marketing or sales activities are exclusively pursued by DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo only. For both shareholders, this business model brings about a clear capacity increase, a larger network, and thus more frequencies within their own respective networks. The route network of AeroLogic in total comprises 30 destinations in Europe, in Middle East, in Asia and North America.
