Thomas Cook looking for a strategic investor for successful Condor

Thomas Cook Condor

The tourism group Thomas Cook is looking for a strategic investor for its airlines. This includes the German subsidiary Condor headquartered in Frankfurt. The Thomas Cook Airline Group manager, Christoph Debus, yesterday stated to the German Press Agency that the 4,000 Condor employees didn't need to worry. "The Thomas Cook Airline Group has made a profit every year and proven even in the difficult year of 2018 that their business model works." The manager explained, looking back at an operating profit of 129 million British pounds (147 million euros) in the past business year. That's a good foundation. "A strategic investor would help to better develop the business", said Debus.
