Lufthansa Condor

Condor Manager for takeover by Lufthansa

Lufthansa Condor

Condor Manager Ralf Teckentrup can sympathize with the idea of Lufthansa taking over the Thomas Cook Airlines subsidiary, the "editorial Network Germany" (Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland) reported yesterday. "We are flying from Frankfurt next winter with 16 aircrafts. That would fit well to Lufthansa", the Condor chief added. "If Lufthansa is interested, they should contact our parent company Thomas Cook, who is considering selling the Group's airlines". The airline is "in good health" and makes money. "Whoever buys us would like to do business with the airline. That's why I'm relaxed and in a good mood", Teckentrup said. Of the approximately 9,000 employees of the three TC airlines, around 4,000 work for the German company Condor, headquartered in Frankfurt.
