Starting from August WDL Aviation will be flying wet lease for Easyjet. An Embraer E190 regional jet will be operated to fly to European destinations from London Gatwick for the British airline. WDL is based in Cologne and belongs to the Berlin Zeitfracht Group. The airline also has wet lease agreements with British Airways, Finnari and HOP, among others. "The trust of easyJet shows once again that WDL has developed into a renowned partner in the international wet lease business", says Wolfram Simon-Schröter, Managing Director of the Zeitfracht Group. WDL was founded in 1974 and is one of Europe's leading providers of aircraft leasing for regional jets today.
