Laudamotion has its works council office vacated

Works Council Ryanair

In a letter from Laudamotion's works council, which is available at, the committee reports that they no longer have any jobs available in the Austrian airline's company building. When they arrived at the works council meeting, the computers had disappeared and the desks had been cleared. According to the works council, it was also unable to move into a new room that had been promised. At the request of the trade unionists, the personnel department allegedly recommended renting premises at its own expense and then reclaiming the expenses from Laudamotion.

Laudamotion is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ryanair Holding. The works council suspects that the measures are based on an initiative by the Irish parent company. The letter reads: "We assume that this act originates from our new COO, who was sent by Ryanair, and that our management is watching or even playing an active part in it". The works council announced that it would join forces with the Austrian trade union Vida to file a lawsuit against Laudamotion's actions.
