From March 2020, German Airways will station five Embraer E-190 LR regional jets together with their crews at various Swedish airports. The cooperation agreement with the Swedish airline Braathens covers the wet lease of the aircraft over several years. The two airlines of the Zeitfracht Group LGW and WDL will be marketed under the name German Airways.  The flights for Braathens will be operated by WDL and operate both domestic and international connections.

"We are delighted about this groundbreaking cooperation and thank you for the trust that goes with this long-term partnership," says Elisabeth Jesse, CCO of the Zeitfracht Group. "Braathens is the ideal partner to ensure the further development of German Airways at the highest level. This cooperation shows that the ongoing modernisation of our fleet is an important step towards a successful future for German Airways".
