The Zeitfracht Group wants to train pilots for its subsidiary German Airways itself in the future. In order to be able to offer its own training courses for ATPL and MPL licenses, the company has taken over the flight school of the traditional company TFC-Käufer in Essen.  The already existing training programmes for commercial pilots will remain unchanged. Managing Director Christian Käufer, son of the company founder Rolf Käufer, will also continue to manage the flight school.

"TFC Käufer is a well-established company with an excellent reputation in the industry," says Dominik Wiehage, COO of the Zeitfracht Group. "It was important for us to secure this competence for the pilots of our flight operations in the long term and to continue to have well-trained personnel in the future. But this also means that we are looking for continuity within TFC Käufer". And Christian Käufer adds: "There are a lot of changes going on in the aviation industry right now. This makes it all the more important for our company to have a strong partner at its side. We have been talking to Zeitfracht for some time and have now agreed on a takeover of the flight school. In taking this step, it was very important to both sides that continuity for TFC Käufer is maintained.
